If there’s anyone who knows a thing or two about dressing to impress, it’s Lorraine Kelly. The ITV host appears on our screens almost every single morning, and always manages to look impeccable, with many fans following her outfits for day-to-day inspiration – particularly when the items are affordable.
Recently, the 58-year-old donned a stylish red pencil skirt from none other than the fashion pack’s high street favourite Zara, and it’s an easy-to-wear piece that would make a worthy addition to any wardrobe.

The colourful high-waisted midi-length skirt, which retails for just £29.99, boasts a bright floral print and a wrap-style fastening with a subtle slit up the side. If you want to invest in one for yourself, it’s currently available in sizes XS to XL on the Zara website.
Lorraine and her stylist, head of wardrobe Bronagh Webster, teamed the skirt with a fitted red crew-neck top and towering Aldo heels for a more formal finish, but it’s versatile enough to be dressed down with a casual tee and trainers too.
Earlier this year, Lorraine opened up to YOU about finding her fashion mojo in her 50s, admitting: ‘I have my mother to thank for my skin and cheekbones, but the rest of it is down to the fact that in my 50s I have confidence, plus I’m more styled so I appear put-together. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve seen old photos and had to apologise for my hideous hairdo and the fact I look like I dressed from the washing basket.’
‘We’re living longer and we want to look good as well as live more healthily. I’m fitter than I was 20 years ago and loving it,’ she continued.
‘One of the few consolations of growing older is that you have far more self-confidence than when you were young. There’s something liberating about not caring what the world thinks of you.’
