She’s done it again – TV queen Lorraine Kelly has wowed viewers with yet another super chic outfit, and (rejoice!) it’s from the high street.
Lorraine, 58, chose a fun zebra print midi dress from Warehouse for one of her recent shows, effortlessly tapping into this season’s major animal print trend (that’s right, it’s not just about the leopard print these days…)
The long sleeved style is perfect for the cooler weather we’ve been experiencing as we enter the autumn months, and the classic monochrome palette would work with black opaque tights for when the big chill really hits.
Plus, as Warehouse points out on their website, the dress can be made as slinky or casual as you like, thanks to its flattering wrap shape and O-ring detail at the waist.
Lorraine almost always wears affordable fashion when she’s on our screens, having modelled outfits from Oasis, Hobbs, Debenhams, Zara and Miss Selfridge in recent months.
Speaking to the Express previously, Lorraine revealed that losing weight when she turned 50 was the catalyst for her style choices, which she describes as ‘in a nutshell, no-frills, practical, comfortable, understated.’
‘Turning 50, I lost a bit of weight and started to become more interested in fashion. It coincided with the high street waking up to the fact that real women with curves look better in clothes that flatter their shape,’ she explained to the title. ‘I started wearing more pencil skirts, crisp shirts and fitted dresses with nipped in waists.’
’99 per cent of my wardrobe is high street,’ she added, listing LK Bennett, Dorothy Perkins, Topshop, Zara and Mango as some of her favourites. ‘I can’t get my head around spending such a lot of money, especially as you can get such good design on the high street.’
Amen to that, Lorraine!
