Lorraine’s make-up artist just revealed some of the secrets to her amazing skin

She may have been on our screens for more than a decade, but the lovely Lorraine Kelly appears to have barely aged a day. So when her go-to make-up artist shared some of the products she uses both on set and on photoshoots to keep the presenter’s skin in tip-top condition, we started taking notes.

Speaking to HELLO! magazine, Helen Hand, the MUA who’s worked with Lorraine on her ITV show for years, shared just some of the products she uses to give the star that signature glow.

‘Lorraine does have beautiful skin naturally so for the show I don’t really use a primer or prep the skin,’ Helen revealed.

‘But for shoots I use Temple Spa cleanser, toner and eye make-up remover which is cruelty free and vegan, and for moisturiser I use the MATIS Fundamental Face Cream and Teint Hyalu List Primer which leaves the skin feeling silky and smooth and makes for a great base to work on. Lorraine’s eye cream is La Prairie.’

While the eye cream recommendation is admittedly – well, eye-wateringly expensive – the Temple Spa range is a much more affordable option if you’re hoping to follow in Lorraine’s flawlessly-groomed footsteps.

Helen didn’t specify exactly which cleanser she uses on Lorraine, but all of their offerings are exceptionally well-reviewed. For a really nourishing deep cleanse, we’d suggest the In The Beginning cleanser, a luxurious balm which melts away make-up and daily dirt and grime, followed by the toner and eye make-up remover Helen recommends, which are both priced at £16.

Outside of the world of beauty products, there’s another – free – option you can try to lift your complexion and your spirits: ‘Lorraine is fit and healthy, a natural beauty,’ Helen added.

‘Doing things like Zumba, finding exercise that you enjoy, changing your shape gives you that natural confidence to be able to try more looks and feel comfortable in your own skin.’
