Lorraine Kelly’s show looks a lot different since lockdown was implemented – but one thing that hasn’t changed is her savvy fashion choices. Whatever the season, weather or occasion, Lorraine always managed to look impeccably put together, and she’s maintained that even now she can only have contact with her go-to style team over the internet.
You might think it costs a lot to copy Lorraine’s looks, but the presenter has always been staunch supporter of the high street, and also looks to supermarket fashion to keep her wardrobe well-stocked. Case in point: today’s dress, which is a pretty spring-ready find from George at Asda, and retails for just £18.
The floral midi dress has a shirt collar, button-down front and flattering sleeves, and would be a lovely outfit for picnics and summer strolls if the warmer weather holds up.
And while the price might be low, the quality isn’t – customers who beat Lorraine to the find have already left glowing reviews on the George website, with one five-star reviewer commenting: ‘So versatile and a good fit too. Love the fabric and colour.’
‘Love this dress. Great fit and lightweight. Wish it came in more colours,’ agrees another, while a third wrote: ‘I love this dress, so well made and pretty. I like it so much I bought another.’
There is a downside to the dress’s popularity – many of the sizes listed online are already marked as sold out, with no option to sign up to be notified when it returns, so you’ll have to bookmark and refresh the page if you want to track down yours.
Alternatively, you could check in your local Asda store the next time you visit for your weekly food shop – if you’re lucky enough to spot one on the rails, add it to your trolley stat before someone else beats you to it!
