Lindt fans, brace yourself, because we’ve got possibly the greatest news of the year. Lindt is bringing its famed pick and mix stations to Sainsbury’s stores around the country.
The addition was first brought to light by blogger Em Sheldon, who spotted a counter in her local shop. ‘Wow sorry they only went and got a @LindtUK pick & mix in @sainsburys,’ she wrote in a ‘public service announcement to her 38k Twitter followers, who were all equally excited about the development.

‘It’s a Christmas miracle!’ declared one, while another posted: ‘This is amazing!!!’
And the chocolate-based joy didn’t stop there, because when one commenter asked: ‘Is this all Sainsbury’s or just one special one?’, the Lindt brand account confirmed that there are soon to be 66 (!) Lindor pick and mix stations across the country. That’s a lot of delicious truffle-filled globes to chomp our way through.
The team at Sainsbury’s then took things one step further by offering to tell eager shoppers where their closest counter could be.
By December 2nd, 66 Sainsbury's locations will feature Lindor Pick & Mix stations 🙌

The update is the latest in a string of exciting additions for Sainsbury’s, who also unveiled a brand new beauty hall upgrade earlier this year.
After a successful trial in eight branches, the retailer is rolling out a concept that will see a massive expansion of its offering, both in terms of an increase of floor space and a choice of 1,400 new products to add to your trolley alongside your weekly essentials, plus trained in-branch beauty advisors to help you pick the best buys for your needs.
Elsewhere on the high street, if you love pick and mix just as much as we do don’t forget that John Lewis & Partners has bought back its Quality Street pick and mix offering for 2019, including a new, exclusive sweet that you can’t get anywhere else.
