This is the brand behind Lily James’ Mamma Mia 2 premiere glow

Lily James arrived at the Mamma Mia 2: Here We Go Again premiere earlier this week looking every inch the Hollywood starlet.

Dressed in a dipped hemline ballgown and stiletto heels, Lily appeared happy and relaxed as she posed with fellow castmates, including Amanda Seyfried, Meryl Streep and Cher – and now we know the secret to her blue carpet glow.

Make-up artist Naoko Scintu has revealed that she used products from J-Beauty brand Suqqu to create Lily’s sultry, sophisticated beauty look for the occasion, and has even shared a step-by-step guide to recreating the look ourselves.

Unsurprisingly, prepping the skin was therefore key to Lily’s face, with Naoko explaining that she used a Face Stretch Mask and Blooming Glow Primer as a base for the Nude Wear Liquid foundation.

Lily’s signature brows were enhanced with Suqqu’s iconic Volume Eyebrow Mascara in Brown, and as for that perfect cat eye flick? The Creamy Eyeliner was the long-wear liner of choice, layered on top of graduated colour from Designer Colour Eyes palettes in Yuushakuyaku and Hisuikou. for that pop of ocean blue.

Topped off with Volume Curl Mascara and Extra Glow Lipstick in Kurumibeni, Lily was ready for her close-up – and fans were quick to compliment Naoko’s handiwork when she shared a snap of the finished look on her Instagram account, with one exclaiming: ‘You killed it! Lily looks stunning’ and another agreeing: ‘Love those eyes’.
