Lidl’s entire heatwave survival kit will set you back just £45

With temperatures soaring above 30 degrees for the first time this year, we’re plotting two plans of attack – firstly, keeping the family safe and shielded from the rays, but also, making the most of the warm weather and having some fun.

Luckily for us, Lidl are one step ahead, and have come up with a heatwave rescue kit that will help us do both.

From parasols to paddling pools and one of the most affordable fans we’ve seen on the high street, you can pick up the entire range for less than £45 – or, of course, you just can pick up the pieces that you need.

The entire bundle comprises of a four-man inflatable paddling pool with built-in cupholders, a fast-action pump (well, you don’t want to be blowing up a pool that size manually…), a colourful, UPF 50+ sun protection parasol in blue, green or a multicoloured design, and an electric cooling fan, to keep your house just as cool and collected as your garden.

Paddling pool, £13.99

Parasol, £4.99

Silvercrest tower fan, £19.99

Silvercrest electric air pump, £4.99

Josie Stone, Head of Non-Food Buying said: ‘With this weekend set to be another British heatwave – we’ve planned ahead so customers didn’t have to.’

‘Our Lidl products will ensure customers can keep cool and carry on during the extreme heat. These quality items at brilliantly low prices means that fun in the sun is for the many and not the few this summer.’

Planning a picnic or barbecue, or simply want to heatproof your home? Lidl’s heatwave range will be in stores and online from Friday 29 June, but you’ll need to move quickly if you’ve got your eye on a particular bargain – as with many of the supermarket’s non-food offers, the collection will only be on offer while stocks last.

Race you to the fans!
