Accessories have always been chic additions to the home as well as an outfit, but the lines between the worlds of homeware and fashion seem to be blurring more than ever before this year. This week alone, not only has H&M Home announced a collab with legendary designer Diane von Furstenburg, influencer favourite Kitri has launched a range of gorgeous candles that would look right at home on any Instagram grid.
The on-trend tapered designs have been produced in partnership with Fairholme Studio, a brand which was borne during lockdown and became an instant favourite amongst the style set, as we all rushed to invest in room-elevating essentials to brighten up the spaces we were suddenly spending so much time in.
‘We wanted to create candles that would elevate your tablescapes over the winter months,’ Tony Jack, founder of Fairholme Studio, explains. ‘The colours are inspired by Kitri’s winter collection, from which I picked out a bold pink, a bright red, a dark royal blue and an emerald green. It took a while to get it right but I am so happy with what we’ve created.’
Each hand-dipped candle, made from a luxury blend of bees and soya wax which will give you a burn time of around five hours, is named after members of the team at Kitri HQ: Jenny is red, Sophie royal blue, Teja emerald green and Elly a playful bubblegum pink.
Considering the popularity of each brand independently, the pairing of these two names represents a real sartorial powerhouse – which means you’ll want to get your hands on a set before they sell out quicker than you can say ‘add to basket’.
Pre-orders are open now, with the official launch taking place on 15th November – you can join the waiting list here. In the meantime, you can browse Kitri’s recently dropped winter edit – well, you’ll need something equally lovely to wear to dinner at your fancy new place setting…
