These two Kitri dresses sold out in under 24 hours – but you can still get one

Blue skies, warm breezes and long – we’re well and truly into spring now. With the warm weather comfortably holding out, it seems not even a nationwide lockdown can stop us from buying pretty spring dresses in our droves.

Our proof? London-based premium fashion brand Kitri brought out two new dresses at the weekend, the Maguire Polka Dot Tea Dress and the Nicola Floral Print Tea Dress, which both promptly sold out within 24 hours.

And we can see why. The Maguire Polka Dot Tea Dress is a gorgeous bubblegum pink with fuchsia polka dots, featuring a button-down midi length, rushed shoulder detailing, short sleeves and a flat-lay collar. Love the print? It’s also available on a wrap dress.

The Nicola Floral Print Tea Dress is also button-down midi with a flat-lay collar, but in a beautiful sky blue decorated with large daisies and floaty short sleeves. This print is also available in a short-sleeve shirt and a tie-front dress.

Both designs err on the right side of vintage – a nod to the past but with modern twists to keep them from looking – and can be worn in a variety of ways. Strappy heels and a dainty handbag will create the perfect fancy, feminine look, while white trainers or luxe flip flops (one of this season’s hottest sandal trends) will make for a relaxed, dressed-down vibe.

With approximately 150 of each dress being snapped up in less than a day, the team at Kitri knew they were onto a winner and so have cleverly made both styles available for through their new pre-order service. Get your order in before 3pm on Thursday 7 May and your order will be shipped on Monday 18 May, meaning you won’t even have to wait long for your new favourite dress to arrive.

This is a genius move from KITRI, as it means they can gauge the exact demand for both dresses without creating any waste. Good for the environment and our wardrobes? We approve.
