We’ll be honest: we never imagined that Kim Kardashian West’s beauty regime would come cheap.
With an estimated net worth of $350 million, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star could afford products with any price tag – but now she’s revealed that some of her favourite staples are from the drugstore.
Writing on her app, Kim revealed six of her top budget beauty buys, explaining: ‘I wanted to share some of the best drugstore [skin-care] products [because] you can still find really effective items without having to spend a lot of money.
‘Just remember that consistency is key! If you use the products regularly, you’ll see better results.’ Wise words indeed from the make-up mogul.
So, what does Kim reach for when her eyes need a lift? None other than Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost Eye Awakening Gel-Cream – a lightweight gel formula that locks in hydration for 24 hours, and banishes signs of fatigue.
Neutrogena’s Kardashian-approved tube contains buzz ingredient hyaluronic acid, which restores plumpness to the skin and improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. And if £8 is all it takes to make our eye area look like 37-year-old Kim’s – especially after three children – then we’ll adding it to our shopping basket, stat.
Also included in her list of budget recommendations were Olay’s Regenerist Whip Facial Moisturiser, Pixi Glow Tonic toner, cult favourite Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser, and Bio-Oil, a hard-working allrounder that she has already declared her love for in the past.
‘It just makes my skin glow, and it has so many benefits, Kim wrote in a post on her website back in April, adding that it had been a ‘lifesaver’ during her pregnancies. ‘If you have a scar or stretch marks, you just massage the oil onto the area two times a day.’
