As we all know, whatever Kate wears always causes a frenzy and often sells out instantly, disappointing fans who miss out. One dress that caused quite the stir was Kate’s LK Bennett dress, which she wore to a charity polo match back in 2019.
Supporting their husbands Prince William and Prince Harry, Kate and Meghan were in attendance at the match together, with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis and little baby Archie Harrison in tow.
New mum Meghan wore a relaxed-fit khaki shirt dress by designer Lisa Marie Fernandez and chic sunglasses for the occasion, while Kate chose a pink angel-sleeved midi dress.
Featuring a subtle pink animal print, at first glance, many royal watchers assumed this was also a designer buy, but it turned out it was actually a piece from one of Kate’s favourite high-street stores, LK Bennett. Naturally, the dress sold out immediately after photos were released, but the good news is that LK Bennett has done us all a favour and brought Kate’s polo dress back into stock – and it’s still available to buy online in all sizes, from 6 to 18!
Kate’s ongoing affinity with the mid-priced brand has always been well-documented – she’s worn everything from dresses to coats to shoes from the label over the years, and its nude ‘Sledge’ court were one of her signature wardrobe staples for years.
However, for that 2019 polo match she reverted back to another old favourite – her Castañer Campesina espadrille wedges, which both she and Meghan own and wear often, and are priced from just £80. Another regal bargain!
