Is it just us, or is Kate Middleton fast becoming queen of the high-street find? Not only did she wear Missoma earrings and New Look shoes on her recent royal tour of Pakistan, she’s turned to old faithful L.K. Bennett for a midi dress you’ll want to add to your wardrobe immediately.
Earlier this month, Kate and husband Prince William made a private appearance at Radio 1’s Teen Heroes award ceremony – an event which celebrates some of the nation’s most inspirational young people by applauding them for helping others, showing courage or making a difference in their communities.
Now in its tenth year, Radio 1’s Teen Awards is the biggest teen event in the pop music calendar and shines a light on some of the UK’s most inspirational teens, seeing them crowned Teen Heroes of 2019 in front of an audience of 14-17 year-olds.@BBCR1 #R1TeenAwards pic.twitter.com/pmkN4HhOlw

And now in pictures that have been shared through the official Kensington Palace social media channels, royal fashion fans have spotted that the brown patterned midi dress Kate chose for the occasion is a new season line that’s still in stock.
The brand describes the elegant piece as ‘capturing the spirit of the 1930s,’ the epitome of ‘vintage charm and femininity’. The stretch silk garment is made from stretch silk in an archive coral print in toffee and black, with slight puff sleeve detail, a modest V-neckline and a cinched waist – the perfect choice for a contemporary duchess, if you ask us.
However, we all know that L.K. Bennett is a rather premium offering, and although it is available on the high street, Kate’s Gabrielle Coral Print Midi Dress will set you back close to £400.
‘This is the fourth consecutive year that Radio 1’s Teen Heroes have been honoured with an invitation to the Palace,’ Kensington Royal explained of the Teen Heroes who joined the royal couple, as well as chart-topping singer Camila Cabello and BBC Radio 1 DJs Clara Amfo and Greg James.
‘The ten finalists were greeted by The Duke and Duchess, who praised them for their inspirational work and their dedication to helping others.’
