The Duchess of Cambridge has been a fashion inspiration to us all since the day she joined the royal family, and it’s no secret that she continues to influence our wardrobe choices – especially when she’s spotted in a high street brand that are accessible to us.
Over the years, we’ve become quite familiar with her style choice when it comes to shoes. In fact, it’s become universally known that she always tends to opt for high heels in classic colours such as navy blue or nude. That’s why her latest choice in footwear has come as a bit of a surprise.
The mother-of-three was seen wearing a pair of black heeled boots by high street retailer, L.K Bennett. While the brand is among the Duchess’ favourites, the style of the shoe, though perfectly edgy, is far from what she usually wears.
The Marissa black suede ankle boots are 9cm high, making 5 foot 7 Kate almost 6 feet tall in them. They are currently priced at £199 thanks to the brand’s mid-season sale but were originally priced at £295. Talk about a saving, eh?
But if you want to get a pair of your own, you might want move fast because they’re running low on stock and now that Kate has been seen in them, it’s only a matter of time before they’re all gone.
The Duchess wore the boots while paying a visit to a primary school in Enfield, North London on Tuesday. Kate, who is patron of Place2Be, was there to show her support for the charity’s Children’s Mental Health Week, which is marked every year. During her time at the school, the royal – who is parent to Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis alongside husband Prince William – bonded with parents about the challenges of putting in place good routines for their children.
