Over the weekend, Kensington Palace shared new pictures of Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge at a recent public engagement. The mum-of-three was all smiles as she got her hands dirty as she joined families to plant a garden for The Nook, a purpose-built hospice belonging to EACH, an organisation for which she is a patron.
The visit, which took place to mark Children’s Hospice Week, was an important opportunity to create a peaceful space that will be enjoyed by so many, and draw attention to the cause – ‘throughout the pandemic EACH has continued to deliver end of life and emergency crisis care as well as bereavement support,’ the palace’s post explains.
But as with any Kate outing, there’s no escaping the fact that much of the discussion also centred on her outfit, a beautiful floral design from cult label Faithfull the Brand, a mid-priced favourite of fashion editors and influencers alike.
Kate teamed the brand’s £180 Marie-Louise Floral-Print Crepe Midi Dress with a pair of Russell & Bromley Coco-Nut espadrille wedges for a relaxed yet chic summer ensemble that’s fit for almost any occasion.
Despite the fact that Faithfull the Brand designs are stocked by a number of retailers, including Selfridges, Anthropologie, Net-A-Porter and even ASOS, the Kate effect has already hit and the piece is listed as out of stock everywhere you might look.
The good news, however, is that you can still get your hands on other equally-gorgeous pieces from the brand’s summer collection, some of which are even on sale right now.
If you want to channel a slice of Kate-inspired style and save yourself some cash in the process, here are five floral Faithfull The Brand dresses that are still in stock and are discounted to boot – who knows, perhaps the Duchess already has a couple of these stashed away in her wardrobe too.
