Have you spotted Debenhams’ new launch Kley yet? The own-brand line, which launched back in September, is minimalist fashion at its finest – and Kate Garraway just showed us the perfect way to style one of its hero pieces.
Good Morning Britain presenter Kate wore the tan faux leather skirt from the collection on the programme on Wednesday, teaming it with tonal pointed stilettos and a coordinating printed shirt from Miss Selfridge.
However, the skirt was definitely the standout item in the outfit, which was put together by ITV’s go-to stylist Debbie Harper, who also works with Susanna Reid, Laura Tobin and Charlotte Hawkins on the morning show.
The simple, clean line, neutral shade and flattering finish of the skirt are all hallmarks of the signature Kley style. Priced at £55, it’s an accessible way to tap into this season’s ongoing trend for all things leather (real or otherwise) – but Kate’s not the only star to show us how to wear the look on screen.
Earlier this week, fellow daytime host Ruth Langsford debuted a pair of M&S leather trousers while filming with the This Morning team, saying that she hadn’t braved leather trousers for years but her stylist persuaded her to take the plunge.
And it was a risk that paid off, with fans calling the sleek trousers ‘stunning’ and ‘fabulous’.
‘Looking amazing Ruth!! We love those on you 🖤,’ said one commenter, while another posted: ‘Looking lovely ruth I’m 59 too not sure if I dare to wear leather trousers but I do love those on you 👍❤️.’
So, could you be tempted to take on the leather look too?
