When John Lewis started exclusively selling Skinnydip designed bedding, it was obvious it would be an instant sellout. The brand, which started out with fun phone case designs and now sells clothing, a wide range of accessories and more, is known for its Instagram-worthy designs, and the edit was no exception.
One bedding set in particular became an instant bestseller for its cute emoji-style peach design. It was a huge hit with Instagrammers and we can see why – the illustrated peaches instantly resonate with any smartphone user, young and old; they dance around on a peachy pink background, making it both fun and girly, suitable for a young child or teenager’s bedroom just as much as a grown up one.
Despite recently selling out, the peachy duvet set is now back in stock, which has set the Instagram world alight once more. After the department store took to the social media platform to share a shot of the cotton-blend bedding set, the comments were full of exclamations such as: ‘Love this! ?’, ‘Well this is pure delight!’ and ‘Omg I want this ?????’. It’s fair to say the people like what they see.
The John Lewis peach emoji bedding comes in single (£28), double (£38) and king size (£46), meaning it will work for all room sizes and ages – it’s fun enough for a kid’s or teenager’s room but still tasteful enough to fit in perfectly with a more grown up aesthetic.
By the looks of the comments and considering how quickly it sold out the first time round, we reckon this won’t stick around for very long, so be quick if you want some peachy bedding in your life.
And if peaches aren’t quite your cup of tea, the Skinnydip range of bedding at John Lewis also includes a pink and green leafy jungle print, a cute black and white daisy print and an Insta-worthy floating cherubs set.
