In addition to its fabulous in-house lines (we’re looking at you, Kin and AND/OTHER), one of our favourite things about shopping at John Lewis & Partners is the opportunity to browse hundreds of brands in one place – and there’s nothing better than when one of our existing favourites joins the fold.
Demi-fine jewellery brand Monica Vinader became available to buy from John Lewis in April 2020, and the good news is, it’s currently on sale. That’s right, now you can get the very same jewellery pieces as Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, for less.
Kate has been spotted wearing the Siren Wire Drop Earrings in green, while Meghan has worn the Linear Friendship Bracelet many times.
A favourite among fashion editors and influencers alike, the jewellery brand is renowned for its ability to bridging that tricky gap between affordability and luxury, using materials like silver, gold and rose gold, as well as multifaceted precious gemstones, to create interesting organic shapes.
The cool, contemporary pieces, which span necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings, look great stacked or worn solo, giving you plenty of opportunity to play with and personalise your curated finger, wrist or ear.
The collection starts at just £35 for a chain, which can be worn alone or threaded with charms, and ranges up to £695 for a bracelet with a diamond-encrusted bar, which is currently £455 in the sale. This broad range demonstrates just how well Monica Vinader walks the line of inexpensive and investment, without wavering on quality in the lower price points.
John Lewis began the partnership with a 90-piece drop of MV hero products, but now lists 181 items by the brand online, so even more gems (in every sense of the world) have come to the jewellery counters.
Here are a handful of our top wear-forever items to invest in now…
