Warehouse has had an impressive revival in recent years, offering up some of the most on-trend styles and in-demand outfits each season. It’s also one of the high street shops that has led the way in influencer and artist collaborations. Earlier this year, Warehouse teamed up with influencers Polly Sayer, Michelle Driscoll and Basma Kahie on curated edits, as well as its British Museum collection celebrating artist Mary Delaney.
The latest Warehouse collaboration to drop is also with an artist – Jemma Lewis. With currently 26.6k followers on Instagram, Jemma is known for creating designs inspired by marbling and especially for her dynamic marbled paper. The prints for the collection were created by hand, using a combination of guache and acrylic paint, with the eclectic swirls of marbled paint acting as the basis of the limited-edition range.
Jemma has designed four exclusive prints in her bold artwork, which are scaled against a range of silhouettes. The 11 original designs in the collection include co-ord options, midi dresses, tops and lettuce hems, adorned with Jemma’s statement prints in rich colours. The abstract ripples are a stark contrast against Warehouse’s signature structured styles, and nail a fun yet sophisticated look.
Prices range from £28 for a top to £44 for a midi dress. In comparison to other high street capsule collections made in collaboration with designers, artists and influencers, we’re pleased to see this partnership sits on the more affordable end of the scale.
