With staycations more popular than ever, British holidaymakers are getting creative with their at-home holidays by exploring new parts of the country in adventurous new ways. The latest? A cosy trip to a giant adults-only treehouse.
The Woodside Bay Treehouse is located in the Isle of Wight and is currently available for guests to book a stay – and trust us, you’re going to want to book a stay.
The fairytale-esque house oozes ‘hygge’ (with a British twist) and boasts a cute kitchen with a hob and microwave, an open plan living room fully equipped with large wood burner and a flat-screen TV, a huge timber bed and most exciting of all, a hot tub. But that’s not all.
There is also an outdoor terrace for guests to enjoy, should you visit in the warmer seasons (or be willing to bundle up unde blankets). However for now, the romantic home for two is excellent for a delightful winter stay.
While the treehouse does overlook some breathtaking country sites, fear not – you won’t be abandoned in the middle of nowhere.
The house is actually a part of the Woodside Bay Lodge Retreat which as reported by Tyla, comes complete with facilities such as a gym, on-site treatment rooms, the country club restaurant and the bar – all of which guests can use at their leisure.
‘Woodside Bay Lodge Retreat is a stylish beachside resort just a short drive away from vibrant Cowes,’ reads the brand’s website.
‘This Diamond award-winning getaway nestles at the water’s edge on the Isle of Wight’s serene north-east shores, perfect for unwinding and taking in the breath-taking sights over the Solent, or venture into the lush woodland complete with nature trails nearby and discover the abundant wildlife, all at your own pace.
‘Take a stroll along the adjoining shingle beach or explore the scenic, cultural, culinary and historic attractions of this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty by foot, boat or bicycle.’
Sold? Visit Hoseasons.co.uk to book your stay – prices for a week for a seven-night stay at the treehouse start from £879.
