Never before have more of us been working from home simultaneously, with virtual calls and sofa surfing replacing our day-to-day life in the office. And at the moment, it’s an open-ended opportunity, with few companies confirming (or even knowing themselves) when their workforce will be able to return to their buildings in person.
It will therefore come as no surprise that we’re adapting our own spaces to rise to the occasion, with shopping app LIKEtoKNOW.it reporting an increase of 1200 per cent month on month in searches for chic office desks.
Of course, a home office first and foremost needs to be functional, with a supportive chair, adequate lighting that won’t have you squinting at your screen and a desk that has enough space for everything you need.
However, there’s no reason why it can’t look good too – so we’ve scoured Instagram for some of the best home-working set-ups, and the lessons that we can learn from them when it comes to curating our own.
