Truth be told, I used to see shirtdresses as far too high maintenance in the crease department. However, the recent slew of stylish offerings from the high street has changed my mind. There are more (crease-resistant) fabrics on offer alongside classic cotton, and silhouettes have become more exciting – from billowing sleeves to slinky pieces that won’t look out of place at a black-tie event.
