The Marks & Spencer A/W 19 edit has landed, and oh what an edit it is – from genius jackets and reversible coats in on-trend autumnal colours to long-sleeved, seventies-inspired dresses you’ll want to wear all season long.
As always, Holly Willoughby, who is working with the brand to pick out her top new-in pieces on an ongoing basis, is on hand to highlight some of the most stunning styles in the drop – and there’s one particular outfit that she’s wearing on repeat.
Last night, Holly wore the store’s Floral Midi Dress to attend the English National Opera’s opening night of the season at The London Coliseum. Dressing the piece up with on-trend knee high boots, she had autumnal chic well and truly nailed – but it’s not the only time we’ve seen her in the look.
Back in September, the This Morning host shared a picture of herself wearing the printed floral midi dress in tonal shades of brown and blue on her Instagram account, and commenters couldn’t get enough of the classic pick.
‘Ooh, that’s a really pretty dress – I love the look,’ said one fan, while a second wrote: ‘Love this dress. Collected it yesterday and it’s so comfy and versatile. Love it!’
‘Absolutely love this dress ♥ just purchased ☺,’ another echoed, with many others saying that they either planned to place an order, or had already added the dress to their own wardrobes.
The dress retails for an affordable £45, and is available on the Marks & Spencer website in sizes 6-24. Customers who’ve got their hands on one say the fit is true to size, and that it ‘definitely lives up to the hype’, calling it ‘fabulous’ and ‘beautiful’ in their reviews.
If you move quickly enough to get one of your own, the styling possibilities are vast; as Holly proves, the flattering mid-calf hemline works with bare legs while the weather allows, and is versatile enough to be layered up with tights and boots when the cold front arrives.
And speaking of boots, want the pair M&S and Holly used to complete the ensemble in her post? They’re the £79 Suede Square Toe Flared Heel Ankle Boots, and still in stock too (for now, that is…)
