Holly Willoughby may have done an exceptional job co-hosting I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here this year, but it turns out one series was more than enough for the stylish presenter.
Holly, who stepped in to replace original host, Ant McPartlin, has revealed that she won’t be returning to the show next year.
The star hosted the show alongside Dec Donnelly and while viewers loved their on-screen chemistry, the mother-of-three has confirmed that she won’t be heading to the jungle for a second year.
Speaking at the launch of ITV’s Dancing On Ice – which she will present as usual with Philip Schofield – Holly said to The Sun: ‘This was a one-off, once-in-a-lifetime adventure.’
‘I’ll be at home with everyone else having a glass of wine watching it,’ she added. ‘That was the thing I was most jealous of. Here I am standing here while you’re all drinking red wine at home in front of the fire and I’m in the rain in the jungle.’
Well, we guess we can’t blame her for that!
But while Holly has made it clear that she’ll be watching the show from the comfort of her own home next year, ITV has yet to confirm whether Ant will be returning to the show and be reunited with Dec in 2019. The star took some time off this year to recover from his alcohol addiction.
However, rumour has it that he will be back on our TV screens for the upcoming season of Britain’s Got Talent, though ITV has yet to confirm the news.
As for Holly, she’ll be back on This Morning with Philip Schofield in the new year and the two will also be kicking off Dancing On Ice on Sunday 6th January. So while we may not see Holly taking on the Celebrity Cyclone in Australia again, she’ll still be dominating our TV screens.
