Holly Willoughby’s green Monsoon dress is perfect for Christmas Day (and you can get 40 per cent off)

The art of Christmas Day dressing will undoubtedly feel a little different this year, but one thing’s for sure – we’ll still want to feel special, and trust Holly Willoughby to find the perfect piece to make that happen.

Holly opted for a festive green dress from Monsoon on Monday’s edition of This Morning, and instantly won dozens of compliments from viewers who couldn’t get enough for the gorgeous metallic look, with many saying it was the ultimate investment for 25th December.

‘I’ve just ordered this dress for Christmas Day. You look stunning!! I won’t look like that in it…but god loves a trier 💚,’ one fan wrote on the star’s outfit of the day Instagram post, while another said: ‘you look so stunning!!! i love this colour on you!!! 💚🎄’.

Even celeb pal and fellow host Rochelle Humes was smitten with the ensemble, posting: ‘Omg you’re SO cute 😍🥰 I love this. It’s Christmassssssssssss.’

With its on-trend square neckline, subtly puffed shoulders and detailed pointelle stitching, there’s no denying that this is a dress with a difference. But if the dress alone wasn’t enough to get you into the spirit, how about a discount to sweeten the deal?

Well, Monsoon is still running a Cyber Monday promotion which gives you a pretty incredible 40 per cent off everything, which means you can snap up Holly’s green dress for just £42 instead of the usual £70. Frankly, we’re not sure Santa himself could have made us any happier.

There’s currently availability in every size (from an 8-18) on the Monsoon website, but with the Holly effect about to come into effect, we suspect those numbers will dwindle quickly.

Personally, we’ll be placing our order before the discount expires at midnight tonight – well, a £28 saving is not to be sniffed at, right?
