Now that it’s October, we’re well into autumn which means knitwear, boots and chic coats are all we want to see in our wardrobes. Luckily, high street retailers have been very helpful in assisting us with the seasonal transition by rolling out endless A/W 19 collections that have made us think less about our summer blues, and more about the stylish season ahead.
One brand that is known to do this exceptionally well is of course, H&M. The popular Scandi retailer regularly teams up with high-end fashion houses to create its designer collaborations; previous partnerships have included the likes of Versace, Balmain, Erdem and Giambattista Valli, but this year, H&M has called on heritage knitwear brand Pringle of Scotland.
The two have joined forces to create a stellar knitwear range that dropped both in stores and online earlier this week, and certain pieces are already selling out.
From cosy checked jumpers that you’ll want to live in throughout the colder months to sportswear-inspired midi dresses, oversized hoodies and trendy scarves, the offerings are impressive – and surprisingly reasonably priced. All the pieces feature Pringle’s heritage highland argyles and jacquards, with some items also including the brand’s classic diamond pattern with a twist.
The entire line is made with recycled polyester, organic cotton and soft wool, and the colour scheme is predominately minimalist with reoccurring shades of cream, brown, grey and black with the occasional pop of neon yellow.
Commenting on the range in a statement, Katy Wallace, Brand Director at Pringle of Scotland said: ‘Pringle of Scotland has a long history of collaboration, and this latest partnership with H&M has been hugely inspiring.
‘We are always looking for new ways to express the DNA of our heritage knitwear and we hope this latest playful, sporty take on our famous argyle and Fair Isle knitwear will delight our existing customers, as well as reach a worldwide audience via H&M.’
