H&M has launched its new fitness brand, H&M Move.

We’ve long been fans of H&M’s fitness wear, which offers chic designs and functional fabrics at very reasonable prices. Now, the retailer has taken its collection up a gear, with the launch of H&M Move, a brand that offers ‘movewear’ across a number of categories.

H&M says it offers ‘a more accessible vision of sport by reframing it as movement’, thereby ‘celebrating the fact that everyone on the planet is already a Mover’.

Some of the movers and shakers taking part in the campaign include fitness legend Jane Fonda and acclaimed choreographer JaQuel Knight. ‘To me, it’s not about sports or being the most athletic. It’s about giving your body the kind of movement it needs to stay healthy so it can take care of you’ said Jane.

The first drop includes a variety of Move Essentials, including functional tops, lightweight jackets and a broad selection of tights and bras, alongside items specifically designed to train and run.

There are four main fabrics to look out for in the collection:

DryMove™ – Helps pull all moisture away from your skin, keeping you comfortably dry while moving.

ShapeMove™ – Gives you extra support plus features a ‘no show’ benefit when lifting and stretching.

SoftMove™ – Is super soft and gives you extra support while you move.

StormMove™ – Protects against wind and rain and is breathable whatever the weather.

As for sustainability, H&M says 85% of the materials used are either recycled or ‘sourced in a more sustainable way’.
