We all know that loungewear was the way to go in 2020, what with all the time we’re spending inside. Whether it’s a pair of joggers and a sweater, or a super soft knitted set, loungewear sales have skyrocketed in the past year as we adjust our working-from-home wardrobes to lockdowns, isolation periods, and indoor Zoom meetings.
But if we’re honest, the loungewear hype is beginning to wear a little thin, and we sort of can’t wait to get real clothes on again. With the current lockdown looking set to take up the first few months of 2021, it doesn’t look like getting glammed up will be much of an option any time soon, but H&M has just introduced a new way of dressing that’s perfectly in-between.
Their knitted co-ord sets feature a jumper or cardigan teamed with a chic knitted skirt, giving your cosies a sophisticated edge while still staying ultra-soft and easy to move around in. They’re the perfect choice for this time of year, given that lighter dresses or skirts (floaty and comfortable as they may be) probably will result in you catching a chill!
There are two options from what we can see online: one with a rib-knit jumper, and another with a cardigan instead, meaning you can also sport a simple tee or cami underneath. These sets come in a light beige or grey colour, and at £17.99 per piece (that’s £36 a set) we wouldn’t blame you if you snapped them both up.
Alternatively, if you don’t fancy the skirt co-ords, H&M has plenty of brilliant knitted jumper and jogger sets which are equally as Zoom meeting-worthy, while still maintaining that level of cosiness only working from home can.
Whichever you choose, we guarantee you’ll be wearing these all winter long.
