Hand sanitiser peaked in Google searches back in March, and has been a hot commodity ever since the coronavirus outbreak reached our shores. With many brands finally able to re-stock their version, and numerous others dedicating their time and resources towards creating one, there are now a good range of options if you need to stock up.
While the best way to keep your hands clean is to wash them with water and soap, hand sanitiser is a close second, and will come in extra handy for on-the-go hand washing.
When using your sanitiser, remember to use an adequate amount, check for a high alcohol rating (70 per cent-90 per cent is ideal), and rub the product in until it fully sinks in. And don’t forget your face mask!
Despite doing a clever job, hand sanitisers don’t have to smell and feel medicinal; in fact, these work well while still leaving your hands with a pleasant scent.
