Stacey, who is best known for her hard-hitting BBC Three documentaries as well as being the reigning queen of Strictly, took to Instagram on Thursday to announce that she will be presenting a new series titled Glow Up: Britain’s Next Make Up Star.

Revealing the news to her 602k followers, the 31-year-old star expressed that she was ‘SO BLAAAAAAAADY EXCITED’ for the new show which air on BBC Three.

‘Our new series, ‘Glow Up-Britain’s Next Make-Up Star’ is out soon @bbcthree,’ she wrote. ‘The make up artists are crazy talented and @dominic_mua and @thevalgarland are just FABULOUS judges ✨✨✨ (The guest judges are pretty amazing too) 💅🏼’

Glow Up: Britain’s Next Make Up Star will see 10 contestants battle it out to win a contract with top make-up artists and become the next big thing in the beauty industry, with one person being eliminated from the process each week. L’Oreal’s Val Garland and Mac’s Dominic Skinner will be judging the contestants, along with a number of guest judges throughout the series.

Stacey continued her excitement for the show in a second Instagram post which saw her outlining the aim of the upcoming series in a short video, before expressing: ‘I think we’re onto a winner.’

Speaking about the show, Garland said: ‘What I’m looking for is skill, creativity, the ability to adapt in any given situation. This person has to have an incredible attitude, be able to feel comfortable in any situation and deliver.’

She continued: ‘What won’t impress me? Don’t give me diva, don’t give me attitude, don’t try to sell me something that I don’t believe in.’

Similarly, Skinner added: ‘[I want] to find a make-up artist who is willing to take risks and to push themselves creatively, someone who is more inspired and hungry at the end of this process than they were at the beginning.’

No air date has been announced for the show yet but keep your eyes peeled on Stacey’s Instagram for future announcements.
