Ganni – it’s one of those brands that we love to pore over, before gingerly checking the price tag and more often than not, unchecking it from our virtual shopping basket. Unless you’ve an upcoming special occasion to buy a dress for (and let’s face it, none of us have any of those at the moment) or you’re indulging in a timeless forever item that won’t go out of style, it can sometimes be hard to justify the hefty price tag Ganni items can carry.
Until now, that is. The Scandinavian brand has launched an online pop-up sale full of archive pieces, at prices up to 70 per cent of the original price tag. Named ‘Postmodern’ – just like the Ganni Postmodern store in Copenhagen that stocks a treasure trove of ‘blasts from the [Ganni] past’ – 20 per cent of all profits from the sale will go to the UN Women’s solidarity funds, which is supporting women on the frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic.
There are some absolute gems in the sale, with pieces hailing from as far back as the Autumn Winter 2017 Love Society collection. The 6 day pop-up began on Tuesday this week and ends at midnight on Sunday 3 May – the collection started with over 400 styles on sale, but naturally pieces are disappearing fast, so our advice is to hurry, hurry, hurry!
Whether Ganni is a brand you’ve always loved but never dared to splash out on or there was a dress in the past that you had your eye on but eventually disappeared, now is your time to take a gander through the virtual rails – who knows what you might stumble across. With the collection spanning everything from dresses and blazers to swimwear and accessories, prices starting from as little as £4 for the chicest socks you’ll ever own and some of the profits going towards supporting vulnerable women, we can’t think of any more reasons not to shop Ganni’s Postmodern collection.
Pieces are vanishing fast, but there’s still plenty left to shop. Here’s our guide to the best pieces to buy the Ganni Postmodern pop-up archive sale.
