Diamonds may be a girl’s best friend, but so are carbs – and for most of us, they are much more realistic to attain, too. Now, it turns out you can even make an impressive earning just by eating your favourite kind, thanks to Multivitamin subscription brand, Feel.
The company is currently looking for three people who are self-proclaimed carb addicts to eat nothing but the likes of bread, pasta, pizza, chips and rice as part of an experiment testing the power of their vitamins.
For the study, the testers will have to take a one-a-day multivitamin for the course of a month while staying consistent to their carb-loading diet. This can consist of anything from white bread, chips, eggs, pasta, chicken and rice. However, Feel have made it clear that they will only consider candidates who already eat this type of diet, instead of encouraging others to develop these habits.
The chosen ‘vitamin testers’ will not only get to indulge in delicious foods, but they’ll get paid a whopping £5,000 to do so. Now, that’s a side hustle we can get on board with!
Each tester will have their nutrient levels tested before and after the trial to see whether the multivitamin was effective in generating healthy nutrient levels. Throughout the month, the candidates will also be receive ongoing supervision from a qualified nutritionist and doctor, who will make sure all three are meeting their individual required calorie and macro targets.
Explaining the reasons for the experiment, Boris Hodakel, co-founder of Feel, said: ‘It’s becoming increasingly difficult to get all of the vitamins and nutrients required to live life on the go.
‘Although options for nutritiously balanced food are improving all the time, there are no options that can guarantee a perfectly balanced diet, and multivitamins can be a solution. We in no way want to encourage people to use our multivitamin as a substitute for a healthy diet, the purpose of this study is to test the effectiveness of our product, outside of a lab or controlled environment, where results don’t reflect reality.’
He continued: ‘We want average members of the public to eat a version of the modern Western diet – under the watchful eye of a doctor and nutritionist, to see whether Feel is as good as we think it is, in the real world.’
