Another season, another gorgeous Next edit from presenter Emma Willis. The star has been bringing our attention to her favourite pieces to the brand for years, and her winter collection might just be our favourite line-up yet.
One item in particular has captured the hearts of Next shoppers on Instagram: a bright white double-breasted coat, modelled by Emma herself in a video for the campaign.

The comment section on the post was quickly populated with compliments about the chic cover-up: ‘I’ve already ordered the white coat! Coming tomorrow… Can’t wait to style it 🖤,’ one commenter wrote, while another tagged a friend and exclaimed ‘omg the white coat!!!’
Some savvy customers did point out the potential practicality issues with such a snowy white number – which is possibly why Next has also released a speckled monochrome version of the flattering cut, too.
However, the white coat – which is available in a 6 to 26, and also has tall and petite options – has already proved so popular that several sizes are marked low in stock on the brand’s website.
While it may be the hardest colour to keep clean, a white coat is a classic investment piece that won’t date, and goes with everything, so if you’re tempted to invest, you’re not alone!
Sharing her key fashion tips for the colder months ahead, Emma said that she’d be focusing on layering. ‘Thick socks, boots, jeans, T-shirts, jumpers, scarves, coats, gloves, hats – I love the idea of chucking it all on in one go so you literally can’t move,’ the Big Brother host told the store. ‘The best part is that it doesn’t matter what you look like underneath, as you can use the season’s lovely, chunky knits to keep it all under wraps.’
