Whether she’s making appearance on a morning TV show or attending a red carpet event, Emma Willis always has incredible hair. Her short cut, with extra length on top to pull of her signature quiff, is always styled and smoothed to perfection, with the kind of volume most of us can only dream of.
However, during her recent stint hosting Celebrity Big Brother, the star’s on-set hair stylist Louis Byrne has shared a few behind-the-scenes secrets that will make achieving locks like Emma’s a little more accessible.
During the show’s run, Louis regularly shared pictures from the studio, revealing the array of product he relied on to give Emma’s hair oomph throughout long hours of filming. And in the midst of various hairsprays and brushes, eagle-eyed fans have spotted one particular volumising spray: Oribe’s Maximista Thickening Spray.
The bottle, which retails for £27, nourishes as it thickens, leaving hair looking conditioned and protected from environmental damage, as well as impressively big. It has an average of 4 out of 5 star reviews on Space NK, with shoppers who’ve already picked up a bottle calling it ‘phenomenal’ and ‘the best’.
‘I wouldnt be without this now, nothing will actually make your hair thicker, but this adds texture to my fine hair,’ wrote one. ‘Styling is easier, my hair no longer hangs limp and this does not cause it to look dirty or feel sticky.’
‘I was a bit skeptical about how effective this would be as I have very fine, flat hair,’ another agreed. ‘However I am so pleased I bought this; it’s made such a big difference to my hair. I tend to apply it after whichever mousse I am currently using and I can honestly say if I skip this spray I always regret it.’
Well, you know what they say – the higher the hair, the closer to god. Team the Oribe range with the texturising products from Sam McKnight also favoured by Louis, and you’ll be bouffanting with the best of them!
