Sustainability is a big conversation in fashion, and as well as our wardrobes, we need to apply this train of thought to our homes’ interiors too.
Unfortunately, shopping consciously often still means spending a bit more money. However, Dunelm is leading the way in helping consumers shop more sustainably on a budget.
Dunelm has just launched an 800-strong homeware collection called Conscious Choice, spanning soft furnishings, decorative items and furniture for all rooms of the house. Most of the collection is in a natural colour palette of beiges, browns, greens, grey and cream, perfect for creating a tranquil indoor space.
And with it being Dunelm, the prices are purse friendly, too. We’re talking duvet sets from £10 and recycled glass tumblers for just £3.50. Prices range from £1.50 for a towel to £2,399 for a velvet corner sofa, so there really is something for all budgets and needs.
The brand launched the range with the hope to inspire customers to make more thoughtful purchasing decisions, helping them to choose items that last longer and are made from more sustainable materials.
As for those sustainability credentials, Dunelm promises that all Conscious Choice items meet a sustainability-driven criteria, which includes the materials they’re made from (recycled glass, organic fabrics and responsibly sourced timber) and the longevity of the products’ lifespan.
