Cult skincare brand Drunk Elephant is now available to shop at Boots

Since its launch in 2013, US skincare brand Drunk Elephant has become a cult buy for skincare savvies and beauty buffs. It finally arrived on UK shores in 2018, but the brand just became even more accessible thanks to its launch in Boots.

New to the brand? Let us explain why it’s one of the few skincare brands that deserves the hype it receives.

Committed to only using ingredients that directly benefit the health of the skin (or support the integrity of the formulation), Drunk Elephant base every formula on cutting out what they call The Suspicious 6: essential oils, drying alcohols, silicones, chemical sunscreens, fragrances/dyes and SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate).

Essentially, they don’t faff around packing their formulas with nasties or ‘filler’ ingredients, meaning each cleanser, cream, serum and balm is as potent and efficient as possible. So while you might find the price points a bit higher than your average skincare brand, just remember that this isn’t any ordinary skincare brand. Oh, and the packaging is extremely cute, which never hurts.
