If you haven’t visited your local Debenhams in a while, now is the time to head back in brand, lest you miss the arrival of its new minimalist fashion line Kley.
The own-brand line is a new launch for the department store, and is a classic capsule collection combining staple basics (like the perfect black tee) with statement pieces for a fresh, cool and very contemporary new look.
Think the clean lines and oversized silhouettes of Cos combined with the pops of vibrant colour seen in John Lewis’ Kin, but with more accessible price points, starting at £18 for a drawstring camisole.
The range, which was designed by a female-led team, is part of the new A/W 19 drop, and also includes a selection of cosy loungewear, and investment accessories like ballet pumps, leather boots and bags, as well as scarves and ponchos in complementary tonal colours.
Debenhams Womenswear Design Helen Low told Grazia of the new launch: ‘The colour palette responds to the trend for Nu Minimalism – simple, sophisticated and calm. Prints are accents rather than heroes.’
‘Kley is fashion-informed in its aesthetic, but we’ve developed the range around the idea of a capsule wardrobe with seasonless items that can be dressed up or down.’
