First there was matching family Christmas jumpers and pyjamas, and now you can take the twinning trend one step further by matching with your dog. Yep, that’s right, you and your four-legged best friend can get into the festive spirit together by donning matching knitwear – we can’t think of anything more adorable.
Even celebrities are getting in on the trend – Davina McCall just posted a picture of herself and her dog to her Instagram, complete with matching Christmas jumpers.
‘Right that’s it. Me and Bo are officially festive,’ Davina wrote on Instagram. ‘She’s licking her lips coz the only way I could get her to sit for me was with some treats! ?? our matchy Christmas ? jumpers are from @jdwilliamsuk .. I’m obsessed.’
Davina McCall is an ambassador for JD Williams, and it seems she couldn’t wait to show off what the fashion brand has in store for all us dog owners. And with, Christmas Jumper day coming up this Friday, there’s never been a better time to pop a ridiculous Christmas jumper on your dog.
We love Davina and Bo’s jumpers, with their brightly coloured fairisle design and reindeer faces – Davina’s even has added red pompoms on the reindeer’s noses.
The dog jumper version is currently £10 down from £15, but sizes are disappearing fast. The women’s jumper is £32, but has unfortunately sold out now, however we’d suggest keeping an eye out in case it comes back into stock.
In the meantime, why not try these matching dog and owner jumpers on for size?
