Estée Lauder is one of the most iconic names in beauty. Even those who aren’t into make-up will have heard of the now-retail giant. Lauder began her namesake beauty business in 1946, and now over 32 brands sit under the Lauder umbrella, from Clinique to La Mer.
Beauty is also clearly a part of the entire family’s DNA. Aerin Lauder, for example, who is Estée Lauder’s granddaughter, has had her Aerin beauty and fragrance brand for years now. And recently, Aerin’s second cousin has decided to make her way in the industry by launching her very own beauty collection too.
Danielle Lauder (who is Estée Lauder’s great granddaughter, if you’re still following), has released Act IV: a limited edition range designed for Estée Lauder the brand and inspired by Danielle’s love for beauty and acting.
The range features seven products, from highlighters to lipsticks. Everything is encased in millennial-friendly marble packaging, and the colour scheme is pastel and feminine.
‘I was inspired to create a makeup collection around the concept of looking beautiful in any light, while illustrating my love of Hollywood glamour,’ Danielle told the Evening Standard.
She also discussed the impact growing up in such a beauty-centric family, and how it influenced her life and decision to make makeup:
‘Growing up around such incredible eyes and minds for beauty gave me great insight into what consumers want. My passion has developed over the years while learning about product and about the business my great-grandmother created.’
‘Estée knew exactly what women wanted and everything she did was to make women feel beautiful,’ she added.
All seven products in Danielle Lauder’s make-up line are available to buy at esteelauder.co.uk now, and the prices range from £34 to £64.
