Comfy, stylish sandals you can actually walk in

Summer is well underway, and already our feet are feeling the effects of some of the more ‘challenging’ sandal choices we’ve made this season. Sigh.

Cut feet and blisters are certainly not conducive to relaxing summer strolls, which is why we’re on a quest to find summer sandals that are both stylish and comfortable – because it shouldn’t have to be a choice between looking good and being able to walk.

Sandals with ankle straps are number one on the list – anything that hangs off the back of your foot means you can end up gripping on for dear life with your toes. We’re also put off by spindly straps that can cut into the skin, or sandals so minimal they’ll offer no support whatsoever.

Luckily, the high street has answered our call, and plenty of brands offer comfy, stylish sandals ready to take you from city sightseeing breaks to long walks through the park. From old reliables such as Clarks and M&S, to budget-friendly brands like New Look, there are plenty of options to choose from – and your feet will definitely thank you!
