The Dorchester’s 2019 Festive Afternoon Tea
The Dorchester’s afternoon tea is always an unforgettable experience and this Christmas it’s been given a twist with spectacular decorations, indulgent festive treats, and live music courtesy of a choir who will serenade diners during the weekend.
Complete with a glass of Champagne, the Afternoon Tea features an impressive assortment of homemade finger sandwiches, cranberry scones, and seasonal pastries and served with a Spiced Caramel Tea reminiscent of Christmas pudding.
This year’s decorations celebrate the whimsical journey a letter takes from the moment it is carefully dropped in the mailbox, until it reaches its final destination in Father Christmas’ sorting office.
Available from November 16, Festive Afternoon Tea starts at £85 per adult, including a glass of Champagne, and £35 for children.
‘Ice Ice Baby’ Secret Garden, South Place Hotel
This year, the beautiful South Place Hotel has teamed up with CÎROC Vodka to transform their Secret Garden into a chic winter have. Decked with snow-themed baubles, twinkly lights, cosy throws and glitzy disco balls for the ultimate party effect – not to mention an endless supply of delicious Christmas cocktails courtesy of CÎROC (you’re going to want to sample the brand’s new White Grape flavour), the ‘Ice Ice Baby’ terrace is the perfect place to celebrate the festive season.

The Igloos at Coppa Club

This December, ME London’s Radio Rooftop has launched their ‘Winter is Coming’ terrace. In partnership with Grey Goose, the luxury hotel rooftop will transform into sky-high Alpine-inspired lodges offering delicious cocktails including Apres-Ski Martini with fig and rosemary vermouth and Manchego and the fragrant Alpine Slope with Sweetgrass infused Grey Goose vodka, Jasmine Verte, honey and chamomile. Best of all? The winter terrace will be open until the end of February 2020.
Flat Iron Square
Flat Iron Square has become one of the biggest social hubs of the city and things are only getting better as we enter the month of December. Here, you can indulge in a delicious cuppa alongside Christmas Pudding macaron, mini frangipane mince pie and, of course, Christmas iced biscuits.
Okay so it’s not the newest, but as the biggest Christmas pop up in London, Winter Wonderland is popular to say the least. Located in the famous Hyde Park, visitors can enjoy everything from roller coasters and ice skating to cute Christmas markets – and, of course, the endless food and drink on offer. Don’t leave without trying a chimney cake.
Langham’s Christmas Journey
For the most luxurious way to enjoy London this December, The Langham, London has created the ultimate festive experience, which includes accommodation in one of the hotel’s enviable suites and a day at the wheel of a hand-built British Morgan car so you can see the sights in style.
