What’s summer without a beautiful new dress or two? Not one we want to experience, that’s for sure – and giving us all the summer dress inspo we need this year is Christine Lampard. The Loose Women presenter wowed us all the other day in a bargain high street find that looks far more expensive than it actually is.
Living up to her title of unofficial style queen, Christine donned a super stylish Zara dress to present the latest episode of Loose Women alongside Nadia Sawalha and Jane Moore, and we can’t get over how gorgeous it is.
The dress in question is understatedly chic – a pale sky blue linen-blend midi with a V-neckline and voluminous puffy elbow-length sleeves (a huge trend for summer 2020). A loose empire waistline and front darts are the final simple touches that help to elevate this dress from obviously high street to questionably high end.
Dubbed the Voluminous Rustic Dress, it’s even on sale at the moment for just £29.99, down from £49.99 – that’s a huge 40 per cent off. But hurry, sizes are disappearing fast so do all rush at once if you want to copy Christine’s fabulous style.
Christine styled her dress with a simple gold necklace with a ‘C’ initial pendant and her rich brunette hair in loose beachy waves. With lockdown restrictions easing from 4 July, this would make the ideal dress for all your newly made social engagements – from BBQs and picnics to a visit to the pub – plus it’s timeless enough that it will still look just as good next year for all those rescheduled weddings and parties we’ll surely be attending.
Christine is forever nailing her inspiring wardrobe choices and we can always look forward to seeing what she will wear next. For this Loose Woman, it seems blue certainly is the colour for her of late – another recent stylish choice by the TV presenter consisted of a gorgeous blue and orange abstract floral number from Irish contemporary womenswear brand Joe Noe.
Proving the point even more, another fabulous fashion choice of Christine’s earlier last month was a wonderfully royal blue dress from favourite high street brand & Other Stories.
