Chrissy Teigen’s favourite budget beauty buys include this iconic acid peel

We’re all for a celebrity skin regime. In fact, many of us live to see what our favourite stars put on their faces day in, day out. Chrissy Teigen is the latest celebrity to share her skincare routine, and amongst the more expensive products, she actually uses a number of more affordable budget beauty buys we can all get our hands on.

Up first is the Biore Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strips, which are beloved for clearing out congested pores on the nose. They’re a bit of a cult buy in both the UK and the US, particularly for those who love the satisfying nature of squeezing spots and blackheads. And at £8.99, they’re affordable enough for anyone to feature them in their routine.

As well as the strips, Chrissy shared that she uses the much-loved Alpha Beta Peel Pads by Dr Dennis Gross, which contain a powerful dose of Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) and Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA), and are a staple in any beauty fan’s stash. She stated these are ‘so important for on and around my nose and chin.’ ‘You’ll notice a HUGE difference,’ she added. The pads are £19 for a pack of five so aren’t super cheap, but are relatively affordable compared with some of the other bits in her routine.

The rest of her routine consisted of a mix of high end and more affordable formulas, most notably the iS Clinical Cleansing Complex (£36), and the ‘lotion’ (which we assume refers to the Moisturising Complex at £74).

In addition, she is also a big La Mer fan, and uses The Concentrate and Creme De La Mer religiously. She finishes her routine up with the SPF 30 by Control Corrective.

Chrissy explained to her fans on Instagram that she is ‘def proud of my skin lately and feeling myself,’ hence why she was sharing her current routine.

She also thanked her facialist Shani Darden for helping her to put together her selection of products, in particular the iS Clinical buys. ‘I kind of use whatever is closest but it consists of @shanidarden forcing me to use @isclinical cleanser and face lotion,’ she said, later adding: ‘A very simple (no) routine! But really. The IS clinical cleanser and the lotion is the only thing I use consistently and they’ve always been so good to me.’
