According to the research, Sunny Beach, which outside of its lively nightlife also boasts powder white sands, beautiful blue seas and scenic mountain views, is the most affordable trip for UK visitors, giving us great value for money.
Winning the title for the second year running, the new data by Post Office Travel Money has reported that costs for the destination are down by a further 15 per cent from last year, meaning we can enjoy it for even less this year. Hurrah!
To get the best deal, Post Office Travel Money recommends the Black Sea resort as it currently offers the most purse-friendly trip, coming out as the cheapest when compared to 42 other destinations across the world – from Cape Town and the Algarve to Costa del Sol.
As well as its picturesque nature and incredible climate, Bulgaria also has a buzzing party scene, allowing guests to get the best of both word – relaxing by day and enjoying an exciting social environment by night.
When analyzing the overall costs of the destination, the researchers found that tourists could enjoy a three-course evening meal for two with wine, a 1.5-litre bottle of water, a glass of wine, bottle of Coke, bottle of beer, a cup of coffee, suncream and insect repellent all for the small price of £30.68, down from £38.86 in 2019.
