Awards season is officially upon us, and while that means celebrating A-list acting talent, it also involves all the fashion and beauty intrigue, too. The Golden Globes was first up last night, and hair and dresses were varied as every, there was only one lipstick gracing the lips of the most famous women on the carpet: Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk.
The beloved lipstick has been a bestseller for the brand for years now, and it’s a favourite of Charlotte herself when she attends to her celebrity clients. So who exactly was wearing the star shade last night?
Salma Hayek was kitted out in Charlotte Tilbury products, and on her lips she wore the new dreamy Pillow Talk lip liner, along with the lipstick duo in medium. Best friends Michelle Williams and Busy Phillips also wore the shade, both rocking the Pillow Talk Lip Cheat, Matte Revolution Lipstick, and Collagen Lip Bath.

Pillow Talk is one of Charlotte Tilbury’s top-selling lines, and boasts five-star reviews all around the world. Fans have continuously praised the beautiful neutral tone of the lipstick (which suits a range of skin tones), along with the comfortable matte finish. One reviewer on the brand’s page even declared it was ‘honestly the best makeup product I’ve ever bought’. ‘I will never again hesitate to spend the money on this product as it is in a class of its own,’ they added.
The Pillow Talk phenomenon began with the Pillow Talk Lip Cheat lip liner, before the range expanded to include a lipstick, then a blusher and eyeshadow quad.
2020 will see even more products enter the range, with the Instant Eye Palette reimagined with 12 new Pillow Talk shades, a Pillow Talk eye liner, and new medium and intense versions of the original lip liners, lipsticks, highlighters and blushers to suit even more undertones.
