Carrie Bradshaw’s been rocking a bag we can actually afford

While Carrie Bradshaw may be known for her designer wardrobe, including plenty of high-end bags which seem quite frankly unfathomable on a journalist’s salary, we were very excited to see her championing an affordable, British bag brand in a recent episode of And Just Like That.

The brightly-coloured, striped tote was part of Carrie’s ‘painting’ wardrobe (which, confusingly for anyone who has done DIY, also includes skyscraper sandals). It’s from Ace & Prince, an online boutique that sells a selection of vibrant totes in a range of sizes, as well as leisurewear and home accessories. The brand was founded by stylist, Chloe Forde and former model, Heidi Murray, who are both from London.

The particular bag Sarah Jessica Parker was seen holding costs £34, and although it is currently sold out online, the brand restocks regularly, so it is worth keeping your eyes peeled. The totes are available from mini sizes all the way up to a spacious laundry bag size, which is super handy for home organisation, as well as lugging stuff around.

It’s not the only vaguely affordable piece that Sarah Jessica Parker has been seen wearing as Carrie. Her fitted, one-shoulder first date dress is from Norma Kamali, and can be bought online for under £200 – not cheap, but a lot less than many of her wardrobe items, which run into the thousands.

Much as we love admiring Carrie’s fancy outfits, it’s always nice to see her grab a bargain too!
