Every year, royal fans look forward to seeing the Cambridge family Christmas card – and 2019’s offering might be their sweetest photograph yet.
The card was shared by Air Commodore Dawn McCafferty, who received the season’s greeting from the Kate, who is a patron of the Air Cadets.
‘We send HRH and her family all best wishes for Christmas and hope to see her again in 2020,’ Dawn wrote alongside an image of the card, which shows the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their three children posing together on a vintage motorcycle, alongside Catherine’s immaculate signature.
Royal fans on Twitter were thrilled to see the new image of their favourite family, with one writing that the group were ‘so adorable and so down to earth!!’ ‘Wow this is fab!’ exclaimed another, while a third dubbed the picture simply ‘gorgeous’.
And even though the snap has only been in the public domain for matter of hours, eagle-eyed fashion fans have already managed to track down Kate’s cornflower blue dress, and it’s from high street store Boden.
The Aurora Midi Wrap Dress in a pretty floral print was part of a previous season collection, and had even been reduced to £60 down from £120 in the sale. Disappointingly for fans of Kate’s style picks, however, it’s sold out online in all sizes.
The card is a change of pace from the 2018 edition, which showed the family relaxing in the woodland at their Anmer Hall home in Norfolk.
However, blue does seem to be a theme throughout the Christmas outfits – for three years runnings, William, Kate and the kids have all worn cool tones from one side of the colour wheel in their festive shoots, rather than more obvious hues of red, green or gold.
Now, when do we get to see an equally adorable pic of Meghan, Harry and baby Archie’s card of the year?
