Boots No7 has expanded its range of skin ‘pastes,’ which are unique formulas that come in a paste like texture and cater to different skincare concerns.
Last year, the brand launched two Skin Pastes to their Laboratories line, a range specifically designed to provide results worthy of cosmetic procedures, without the invasive surgery. It’s essentially an amped-up range that delivers more professional-style results than the original No7 skincare line.
First up was the Resurfacing Skin Paste, which targets clogged pores and promotes brightness. Then there was the CICA-Rescue Skin Paste that uses wonder ingredient cica to heal and repair skin.
The extension of the line has seen two new pastes added; one for hydration, and one for skin clearing. The Hydrating Skin Paste targets dehydration and dry, tight skin, and features a hefty dose of hyaluronic acid. It’s a mix between a gel and cream formula, meaning it’s nourishing enough to ease dehydration, but lightweight enough not to weight the skin down.
The second addition, the Clearing Skin Paste, features exfoliating salicylic acid to soothe and aid pores and blemishes. It also includes prebiotics to balance the skin out a little, so is also good if you have combination skin.
The idea of the paste formula is to leave it on overnight as a treatment/face mask. The Hydrating, Clearing, and CICA-Rescue Pastes can all be applied before bed time, and left to sink into skin as you sleep. You’ll wake up to healthier, happier feeling and looking skin in the morning.
The Resurfacing Paste is a little different, and due to its active ingredients, should only be left on for 15 minutes rather than all night.
All four of the pastes cost £18 each, and are already available at boots.co.uk. They are also going to be stocked in Boots stores around the UK.
