In a bid to help people get the essential items they need during the coronavirus lockdown, Boots has launched three healthcare and essential toiletries kits for a very affordable price. The British retailer hopes that the boxes will help people to get hold of those most essential items that they have been struggling to find on the shelves individually, such as cough medicines, antibacterial hand gels and tissues.
With supermarkets such as M&S and Morrisons having released online order-only food boxes, Boots is following suit with its own version, keen to help its customers receive the essentials they need in this difficult and troubling time.
The bundles can be ordered online and delivered for free, which should also help in keeping the number of people queuing to get inside shops down, plus making it much easier for people who are self-isolating to get the items they need.
Speaking of the new ‘bundle’ boxes, Boots, which is classed by the government as an essential retailer, said that they had been designed to ‘help meet individual customer and family needs, focusing on popular products across three key categories.’
Those categories are healthcare, toiletries and baby necessities. The healthcare bundle, which is priced at £35, includes essential, hard-to-find items such as paracetamol, cough sweets, tissues, nasal spray and antibacterial wipes and hand gel. Whether you’re suffering from symptoms of coronavirus or have fallen ill with a cold, this kit provides everything you could need to help you on your way to feeling better.
The Toiletries Essentials bundle includes personal care and hygiene items such as deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash, two Dove body washes and a tube of Soap & Glory Hand Food hand cream, and costs just £30.
And new parents will likely rejoice at the sight of the The Baby Essentials Bundle – for £30 it includes a tub of Sudocrem, two packs of baby wipes, large cotton wool pads, Johnson’s baby powder, lotion, bath and oil.
