Yesterday, Meghan Markle arrived with Prince Harry at the Your Commonwealth Youth Challenge event at London’s Marlborough House in a striking ensemble.
Harry (of course) looked dapper in a navy suit but it was his wife that really stole the show dressed in a vibrant, practically-neon yellow dress. High-necked, sleeveless, straight and below-the-knee, the cut was typically demure. The colour, however, was less-so and we absolutely loved it.
The it-colour of the season, yellow has been all over the high street this summer and a number of other high-profile people have been seen wearing it from Amal Clooney (who can forget the Stella McCartney dress she wore to Meghan and Harry’s wedding?) to Blake Lively and Reese Witherspoon.
Admittedly, it’s often a hue people shy away from – fearing its vibrancy – but find the right shade for you and you’ll be onto a winner.
Taking inspiration (as usual) from Meghan’s latest outfit, we’ve tracked down our favourite high street yellow cocktail and evening dresses so that you can get in on the trend. The best bit? They’re all £50 or less.
