If you’re a regular reader of YOU beauty director Edwina Ings-Chambers’ weekly column, you’ll remember that back in September she discovered Avon’s new skincare range, Distillery.
A clean beauty line with vegan credentials, recyclable packaging and no ‘filler’ ingredients, she was seriously impressed by the moisturisers and facial oils from the collection. And if you loved it as much as our Edwina, you’ll be pleased to hear that Avon is expanding the campaign to the wold of cosmetics, too.
Next month, Distillery will launch a colour portfolio comprised of four new products: a liquid lip concentrate, seven highly-pigmented shades of eyeshadow, a volumising mascara and a matte pressed-powder foundation, giving you all of the tools to create a statement make-up look.
Avon describes the new offering as ‘high-performance’, with ‘beautiful textures and environmentally-conscious packaging’, much like its skincare predecessors – and the price is equally noteworthy. Starting at just £10 for a single-pan eyeshadow, nothing in the edit is over £20.
‘In response to the increasing number of well-informed and socially-conscious customers, Avon’s beauty line is composed of concentrated crafted through a rich distillery process that delivers nature’s potency at its fullest,’ the brand explains.
‘All products are formulated without any alcohol, fragrance or artificial dyes, delivering clean beauty from every angle.’
The only downside to the announcement is that the line doesn’t drop until 22nd November – although that’s still in plenty of time for you to experiment with a magenta lip or turquoise eye ahead of Christmas party season.
In the meantime, you can still get your pre-festive glow going with the £22 Purify Facial Oil that won Edwina’s praise last month. Use the code DISTILLERY at the checkout, and you’ll even get free delivery.
